Moomp monsters are the most delicate of all creatures in the monster kingdom. And I don’t mean physically. I mean, emotionally. The Moomp needs constant attention and nurturing from it’s owner in order to feel important. A mounted whale named Hamlet. TandA, as well as Nucleus, are raffling off Hamlet here on Dec 14 in Alhambra, CA at Nucleus. Raffle tickets are $10 and a portion of the moneys goes to the Humane Society.

Jennifer Vidauretta just released her new plush, Kitty Go Lucky…Goes to the Litter Box. Their are three different felines; Sour-puss, Sugar-puss, and Cocoa-puss. There is only an edition of 50 peices and they run for $30 a cat. But for an aditional $30 an you can get your own kitty litter box, which includes your very own cat poop. Amazing.

The custom plushforms made for the Midwest Plushform Show on Nov 7 are up for auction on Shoparooni. Plushform is a blank DIY plush made by Shawnimals and this custom show called upon a bunch of artists to make their own and submit them into a contest. The winner’s creations are now up for sale for you to own. They range in price from around $50 - $100. I like the bearded man. (makes sense his would be awesome since he created the actual plushform shape)

Mochimochi Land is a place where knitted toys and people can live together in a spirit of tolerance. All of the knitted beings are made by Anna Hrachovec, a designer from New York, and she just participated in the Plush You SF show on Nov 7. Something that is a little different about her is that she does not sell the actual knitted toys, but the pattern that allows you to knit the design yourself. She also makes a lot of one-offs including this couch and dust bunnies below.
